SCAM!!!

Dear friends or whoever is reading this...please take note, if you receive an sms telling you to check your yahoomail and that you've won money...it's fake. The email you will receive from mailprize65@yahoo.com will look something like this:

CONGRATULATIONS: You have won $9,500 (Nine thousand five hundred US dollars) in the Yahoo! 2007 Mail Alert Programme. Your telephone number sequence was electronically selected for the Yahoo! Mail Alert on the Yahoo! regional telephone code extraction database on Saturday, 08 December 2007, 08:03:33 GMT. Read through this email to validate.

They even go through the trouble of providing an online digital certificate to give you a false sense of security...being doubtful when asked for a photocopy of my IC or driving licence I decided to call Yahoo Southeast Asia office located in Singapore to check. True enough, it's a scam...haiz...if only it's true than I will be USD$9500 richer...haha. Just glad that I found out soon enough and nothing is lost...
