Had formal observations starting on Tuesday till Thursday...and after each day of work, the weather mirrors my mood...(stormy)

觉得好累，尽了全力却好像无法达到别人的要求。。。只好勉励自己：能做到问心无愧，坚持为学生好的信念就好了。

Hoping to get through this challenging time and looking forward to April 21 where all reports should be submitted. =)

Cousin's wedding

Postponed my piano lesson so that I can go to my cousin's tea ceremony in his Bishan condo...

The bride was so beautiful (like all other brides) and the gowns that she wore were really nice. Even my cousin look dashing...haha...Their wedding albums had quite a few natural scenic shots which were really stunning.

Going for the wedding dinner soon..hope i don't feel sleepy later @_@

Ying's birthday

Sis turns 1 yr older today...spent a gd afternoon @ home with her. =)

Fulfilling Saturday

Lately, for the past few Saturdays, I've been out with friends to meet up for lunch and get some shopping done.

Although I'm tired (mentally and physically) but cos I get to meet some pals and finally "get away" from work, I can sense my "cheerful self" coming out from the shadows.

Saturday evenings have also become "family cooking dinner days". Just had Jap salad, curry, sushi, miso soup today. Feel contented and recharged... =)

Step back

In a rather reflective mood now...(when im suppose to start my work...*sigh*)

Realised that we need to step back every now and then to truly appreciate what we usually take for granted in our lives.

Despite our fast-paced lives, busy work schedules and other commitments, will it really take alot for one to just stop for a few minutes or even a few seconds to enjoy the simple things in life?

It may be as simple as enjoying the light breeze that offers a brief respite from the scorching sun. Or having a simple meal with your loved ones. Or achieving some inner peace.

Since...

Since the last time i had time to blog, it has been a really trying time of my educational life so far...

Alot has happened but just to sum it up, i didn't expect the demands of being a teacher could be so overwhelming. Trying hard each day to learn on the job, handle students and coping with the expectations from different people.

Just hope that as the weeks passes, my effort would pay off and i am able to complete my practicum "safe and sound".
