Met Celina for coffee and chatting and she has slimmed down alot not due to exercise...stress and bothered...poor thing. Was pouring heavily when I went to meet Alvin in Bishan so was pretty drenched. We went to take a photocard...sis say my smile is fake...*sob*

Met our supervisor at Tampines Mall's Delifrance for the debrief. Just exchanged to take a look at our practicum files. Quite heavy and by about an hour or so later, we left. Went to check out the new sanrio corner in Isetan...super small, don't even have the Melody stickers i was looking for.

Had lunch at Genki Sushi before going home...feel so sleepy and it's going to rain again.

Vodaskin

Met Alvin at his house first before having lunch with his sis too at Lucky Plaza food court as she needs to get vegetarian food. We walked around tangs and scott's bodyshop before going to Vodaskin in Far East Plaza.

Valerie treated us to a facial and i had the clarifying mask. It was ok and the promotional price is quite affordable as they are targetting youngsters in the area. Only $25 for a facial or a peel. They offer internet access and even drinks and cookies while u wait as there are only 3 beds. It is located on the same floor as 77th street. Can go try out if have the time. Go relax and pamper yaself.

Walked around far east and got a new brown jacket, looks quite formal but i like the style. Got it for only $26. When in Toa Payoh, saw a similar one going close to $60. Super ex. Contented now...got what i wanted. Hehe.

Josh called while we were having our late lunch. He claims that Alvin looks quite big-sized next to me and Valerie says that it is just a nice way to say that he is fat. Haha. Who cares? Feel more secure mah...

Dinner

After piano lesson, took a cab down to Quality Hotel to have dinner with Alvin's family. It was tough trying to get a cab on a sat evening but luckily didn't have to wait too long. We ate at a vegetarian restaurant. It was a buffet style and the food was nicely made.

Went to Toa Payoh to walk walk and bumped into Josh and hi gf. Met Colin on the bus the last time we went to Orchard. Keep meeting pple we know. Haha. Had a small tiff and he didn't send me home for once.

Bugis street bargains

Went to Bugis to walk around and get the small voodoo doll for sis. The shops in bugis street doesn't open so early, i reached there around 12 plus so had to walk around Bugis Junction first. Managed to find the ty mouse for Alvin. Going to be out of stock for the grey one already. Had quite a hard time finding it.

Went to the cafe at Bugis street for lunch. The Sheperd's Pie set was $7.95, comes with soup and drink. The pie was super huge...felt full just looking at it. Can only finish half of it, the other half got the waitress to help me pack it. Bought one pink and one purple voodoo doll. Managed to see a white long lacy skirt going for $16 but decided to walk around first before buying. Met Shuixian for an early dinner at Sakae Sushi after going to the gym. Tried a new machine called Cybex...quite useful to tone the legs and arms as well as butt...haha.

Got the white skirt and managed to bargain for a pink top for $12. Took the same bus with shuixian then changed to bus 58 to bishan. Quite fast. Then due to wrong time estimation, had to wait half and hour for Alvin. Went to Thai Express for tom yam soup. It was the SPICIEST tom yam soup i've ever tasted...can't even finish the soup...drank half bowl only..super spicy...i almost cried man!

True Spa

Went to Bodycombat in the morning...been sometime since I last had a good workout. Went to taka to help sis get the sanrio hello kitty stickers...i got the cinnamoroll one. Went to Sushi Tei for lunch and tried the Coffee Ice Balls...very nice...only $2.50 for 14 balls...quite worth it. Rich taste though.

Went to Tower A 16th floor for the TrueSpa tour. Weiling was the guide and she gave me a couple of vouchers for their different services. Tried the facial cos it was $52.50 after a $70 voucher. Normally it costs $120 without GST yet. Quite worth it cos one peel and 2 mask. The therapist used cucumber gel mask and a herbal peel as my skin is the combination type. There was also neck and shoulder massage. Real relaxing.

Oh yah, although the deadline for the bilingual report has been extended to next friday, but I'm done with it last nite...so probably will hand in on this friday to get it done and over with.

Met Alvin at Yio Chu Kang MRT station to go his place as on Tuesday and Thursday he can book out at nite but gotta be back in camp by 11pm. His parents sent him back to camp first before sending me home.

Drenched

Went to Botanical Gardens with Alvin this morning..took 156 from Bishan and alighted at Bukit Timah SMU ex-campus. Walked in abt 590m and visited the National Orchid Garden. There were so many different kinds of orchids and there was even a coolhouse. Took some photos before leaving for Holland Village.

Had lunch at Sushi Tei. Had blisters on my feet and the service there is so good that they took the effort to go to 7-Eleven to buy the plasters when their restuarant didn't have them!!! I'm truly impressed. Perhaps will write an email to commend them. Haha...we went to Robertson Quay next cos thought there's a Keith Harring Exhibition, but the place was closed on this public holiday (Good Friday) and was drenched cos there was a heavy downpour. Even with umbrella we were soaked. Took a bus back to his place. Watched an anime called Ichigo Mashimaro, nope not the rabbit from Korea, but a little Japanese girl and her experiences, quite cute and funny.

Practicum II is over...finally

Finally, the long awaited end has come...practicum 2 has come to a closure. Unfortunatly cos my p4 compo is lagging behind so i will be heading back to the school for the supplementary class on wednesday at 130pm. Luckily just one hour.

Met Alvin at Yio Chu Kang MRT to go to his place to watch "The Cat Returns". Quite an interesting animation...the resolution and quality is also very good. Looks like water and color pencils...although it's done by computer imaging. Met his parents...they are quite nice. =)

Necklace

Met Alvin from Match.com at Cityhall MRT station at 130pm. We had Carl's Jr for lunch...it wasn't too bad. Walked around and I got 3 gashapons with one hello kitty love for sis. Walked down to Orchard and we passed by SAM where there was a Venezia store with seats so we took our time there. He wanted to go to Heeren so we went there after my piano lesson. Saw this super cute gashapon machine going for $39.90. Went to Lucky Plaza to buy the same lacy top for sis, got the black one. Was at Forever 21 when I saw the heart shaped pendent necklace. Thought it looked nice so got it for $11. Lotsa shopping done lately...think retail therapy helps alot...haha. Anyway 4 more days next week should be fine.

Retail therapy

Had the observation by the moderator yesterday...super scary...he is quite demanding and he was more pleased with the later part of the lesson. Sigh...just hope he will be kind enough to pass me. Went to meet Gideon in the night, spent some time with him at his place. Wanted to borrow serendipity vcd from him but he can't find it. Some other time perhaps.

After school today, went to town to unwind. Was looking for a blouse and managed to find a suitable one at the last shop i visited...don't normally walk in that area on the first floor of far east. Luckily they were having a promotion, so the top was only $15. A good bargain. Somemore the cloth won't crease, don't have to iron. White lacy top, will take a photo next time. Went to Sun with Moon and it was their tea time by the time i reached there. Could use the coupon of 10% discount. Had Niku Udon and Mochi...my fave. Took a long bus ride home cos don't wanna squeeze in the train. Feel so happy to get that top...will post the photo soon.

Emotional rollercoaster

Had my observation by the school's scm and hod on wednesday...really glad that my efforts paid off...they mentioned that ive improved alot and there shouldn't be a problem if i teach like that every lesson. In the afternoon was actually taking a nap cos super tired that i received the moderator's call...it's liang rong yuan...whom we fondly call liang peh peh...he say that he will observe my p4 class on thursday. Luckily he didn't specify that he wanted to watch a reading lesson cos he is the expert in this area. Im so glad that he chose the p4s cos they are more obedient during lessons. Just hope that all will go as well as today so that i can pass.

However, in our lives, either in school or at work we are bound to meet people like that. Unfortunately, lately I've met two. Not going to mention names here lest I get a lawyer's letter...no money and time for that.

Find it revolting and utterly pointless but HAVE to pretend that I'm unaware of the hypocrisy lurking around. So sad right? Cannot openly show your feelings. Just got to bear with it I suppose. Failure to Launch

Met Steve at Esplanade library...haven't been there for quite some time...managed to find some taiwanese score book that appears more like a magazine and the songs are quite recent too like I do by Rain and managed to find Andy Lau's music collection volume 1 and also 5566 first score book. Went to photocopy cos my card cannot borrow. Need to subscribe to the membership per year think around 50 bucks.

Had Ichiban Boshi lunch and then we walked for awhile at Citylink before he went to meet his friends while i went to Plaza Sg for piano. Bought the Outfitter Girl's bag finally and had a 20% discount cos there were some small scratches at the sides. Hehe...gd bargain.

CK Nokia Fashion Show

Met Ace at Wheelock but Sun with Moon is packed so went to Ajisen at Taka for dinner, luckily we were early so could get a table. Had to lined up before entering the tentage outside Ngee Ann City for the show. Denise Keller from MTV was walking around think she's looking for nice looking people to film. David Gan and Wu Qing Kang was also there. Initially there were no more seats, thought have to stand but the usher managed to find 2 seats in the 2nd row. The view was good but the caucasians in front were pretty tall so could only video through the gaps between them. Couldn't take photos cos the models were moving quite fast.

The show started around 830pm and had a couple dancing ballet then the models came in one by one. A particular female model had a rather weird walking style, she lifted her knee and sorta kick her feet forward. There were only a asian female and male, and several blond female models looked alike. There was a particular male model who looks so good...haha.

I like the skirts they featured and bag. Went to the store in Taka for a brief look. There was a bag that had a special color, between gold and bronze but costs $269. Don't intend to spend so much on a bag. Ordered the last brown Outfitter Girl's bag at Plaza Singapura so will be getting it tmr since i won't get the chance to travel already.

I was at Wheelock Place earlier so went to the toy collectible store. Got a small set of Cinnamoroll stationery and stamp set for $24. The stamps were extremely cute, will take picture of it some day to post here.

The fashion show was pretty short till about 850pm but there was a goodie bag with 2 magazines, Female and Bazaar. There was a Nokia notebook and also a bottle of Coke Light. Went to Coffeebean at Borders for a drink and chat after that. Intended to catch a cab back home but bus was here so guai guai took bus home. Sis helped do up my hair into a bun!
